Our step by step tenant’s guide:
Looking to rent? Register your requirements with us and we will endeavour to find you your perfect home. Useful criteria for us includes; property specifications, budgets, locations, moving timescales and if you own any pets.
- Offering and the agreement of an offer
Once we have found you your perfect home and made a formal offer, we will submit this to the landlord for approval. Dependent on the landlord’s requirements, the offer will either be accepted or returned for negotiations. On acceptance, you will be required the pay a reservation fee as a holding deposit for the property.
- Referencing & right to rent checks
Once we have received the reservation fee, our referencing company, The Lettings Hub, will contact you directly to begin and undertake their full referencing checks. In order to comply with the governments policy called Right to Rent, we will need to be in receipt of identification documents from all tenants before the start date of the tenancy.
Once referencing checks have completed and been approved, along with obtaining your identification documents you will be required to sign all relevant paperwork in relation to the rental property. Your shorthold tenancy agreement will need to be signed and returned to us.

- Tenancy Completion
On tenancy completion we would have received all required monies from you and you would have returned all paperwork to us. On the move in date, you will meet with our inventory clerk who will hand over the property keys. Dependent on the level of service your landlord has chosen to instruct us on our role varies on post completion, however you will be informed about this beforehand.
